Code of Conduct
JILLIAN’S OF IDEAS Code of Conduct outlines our workplace
environment and shows our commitment to the FLA Code of Conduct that aims to
achieve decent and human working conditions throughout supply chains. The Code’s standards are based on
International Labor Organization standards and internationally accepted good
labor practices.
Our accredited suppliers are suppliers that comply to the
FLA Code of Conduct and are committed to implement these Codes to their
upstream suppliers wherever they are working globally. We work with accredited suppliers that
provide us promotional products that are socially compliant and will protect
your brand. If Code standards are not
met, our suppliers are expected to make improvements and develop plans to
ensure ongoing compliance.
The Code of Conduct is one part of a comprehensive social
compliance program that includes regular on-site auditing, accountability and
transparency. The purpose of this helps
improve the lives of workers throughout our global supply chain.
We contribute to the FLA Code of Conduct by purchasing
products from accredited suppliers to make the lives of workers better in our
supply chains. Every worker throughout
our supply chain is expected to be treated with respect, work under healthy and
safe working conditions, and earn fair wages.
JILLIAN’S OF IDEAS workplace builds relationships on
honesty and trust. Our accredited suppliers
are the backbone of our company that we depend on for our promotional products
and they must comply with FLA’s Code of Conduct.
Employment Relationship
JILLIAN’S OF IDEAS has a responsibility to uphold rules and
conditions of employment that respect workers by creating an atmosphere in
which each employee knows that he/she is valued as an individual and treaded
with respect and professionalism.
Child Labor
JILLIAN’S OF IDEAS will not under any circumstances accept
child labor in any operation and will not purchase product(s) from any supplier
that uses child labor.
Harassment or Abuse
JILLIAN’S OF IDEAS will not accept any physical, sexual,
psychological or verbal harassment or abuse.
Suppliers must abide by this too.
All employees are treated with respect and dignity.
Nondiscrimination
JILLIAN’S OF IDEAS shall comply with all
anit-discrimination laws. No employees
shall be subject to any discrimination.
Forced Labor
JILLIAN’S OF IDEAS will not support or accept the use of
any forced, bonded, indentured or prison labor under any circumstances.
Fair wages, benefits, and Hours
JILLIAN’S OF IDEAS must fairly compensate their employees
by providing wages, benefits, and reasonable working hours in compliance with
all laws.
-The regular work week shall not exceed 48 hours and
overtime hours must be consensual and paid at a premium rate.
-The sum of regular and overtime hours in a week shall not
exceed 60 hours, unless it’s under exceptional circumstances.
-Employees must be given at least 24 consecutive hours of
rest in every seven-day period.
Freedom of Association and Collective
Bargaining
JILLIAN’S OF IDEAS respects the rights of employees to
freedom of collective bargaining.
Environment, Health, and Safety
JILLIAN’S OF IDEAS maintains a commitment to protect the
environment and safeguard the health and welfare of its employees and
consumers.
JILLIAN’S OF IDEAS Code of Conduct clearly defines that we
are committed to legal, ethical, and appropriate working conditions throughout
the supply chains.
